Abdulfatai a member of the Seriki Gambari Family and a native of Ilorin, Kwara State, was born and raised in Jos, Plateau State. He ventured into mining at an early age, while at the same time pursuing his education. He holds several national and higher national certificates in a variety of fields, including an HND in Public Administration, a Certificate in Accounting and Auditing, and a Certificate in Mining and Engineering. All of these form part of the background to his success as a key leader in the Nigerian mining industry.

This success endeared him to investors, inspired and equipped him with the resources to venture into other critical sectors. Working with key Chinese partners, in 2016, he began the exploration for Gold and the establishment of what has become Nigeria’s most productive Gold mine.

His visionary leadership has steered the company toward embracing cutting-edge technologies and sustainable mining practices, making Kursi Investments Ltd. an industry leader in environmental responsibility and sustainability.
