Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Aidan Davy joined ICMM in June 2007. As COO, he is responsible for strategy development and implementation, integrating communications into all ICMM’s work, and the allocation of staff resources and staff development.
He also leads ICMM's work on environmental issues, including the management of tailings. Prior to assuming the role of COO in 2015, Aidan led ICMM's work on social and economic development, investor engagement and sustainability reporting.
Aidan has over 30 years of cross-sectoral experience on sustainable development issues, working with a range of private, multi-lateral and not-for-profit organizations, including the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation in Washington DC. For over 20 years, his primary focus has been on social responsibility and accountability issues, with a strong emphasis on the extractive industries.
For the first decade of his career, Aidan primarily worked on environmental issues, in an international consulting company, a multinational manufacturing company and at the World Bank.
