Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite, the Honourable Minister of Mines and Steel Development, is a seasoned professional with over 35 years’ experience in architecture and construction. His tenure as a minister is already marked with the drive to resuscitate Ajaokuta Steel Complex and the development of a downstream mineral policy for the sector. He is also at the forefront of creating a thriving gold ecosystem in the country. Already, his tenure has recorded the enviable milestone of overseeing the country’s first large scale commercial gold production known as the Segilola gold project, owned by the Toronto and London Stock Exchange listed Thor Explorations Limited.
Adegbite holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (B.E.S. Arch) and a Master of Environmental Design (M.E.D. Arch) from the School of Architecture, University of Lagos. He also has a Master of Science in Construction Management (M.Sc. Constr. Mgt) from the same university.
