Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Dean McPherson is Head of Global Mining for the TMX Group Ltd. (Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange).
He is responsible for the development and execution of the global strategy for attracting mining companies to join the Toronto Stock Exchange or TSX Venture Exchange.
Prior to the Toronto Stock Exchange, Mr. McPherson worked as an investment banker, assisting mining companies to raise capital to meet growth objectives. Before joining the capital markets, Mr. McPherson worked for 10 years as a civil engineer, managing capital projects for Alcoa Inc. (an international diversified mining company) and FLUOR (a major international engineering services company for the resources sector).
In addition to an undergraduate honors degree in Civil Engineering; Mr. McPherson earned a Master Postgraduate degree from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charter holder.
