Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Dr Andrew Heap is the Chief of the Minerals, Energy and Groundwater Division at Geoscience Australia.
Andrew has 23 years of professional experience in leading geoscience research in the public sector, collaborating with industry, academia and government. As Chief of the Minerals, Energy and Groundwater Division he has responsibility for leading research programs to build a national prospectus of Australia’s mineral, energy and groundwater resources that maximise Australia’s resource wealth now and into the future. Under his leadership, these programs stimulate exploration investment, support new resource discoveries, advance clean energy technologies to support Australia’s transition to a lower carbon economy, and help secure Australia’s water resources for sustainable use. Andrew has published over 100 scientific papers and technical reports and is a member of numerous committees, including the Geoscience Working Group, comprising the heads of all state and territory geological surveys, and most recently the Strategic Science and User Advisory Panel for Geological and Nuclear Sciences, New Zealand.
