Dr Rory Sullivan, CEO of Chronos Sustainability. is an internationally recognised expert in responsible investment and climate change.
He was previously Head of ESG Research and Standards at FTSE Russell and Head of Responsible Investment at Insight Investment (where he covered the mining and extractive industries). Amongst other projects, he supported the development of the Finance Sector Supplement for the Natural Capital Coalition and advised ICMM on how investors analyse and interpret ESG information provided by companies, and on how companies could tailor reporting to meet the needs and expectations of their investors. He was a member of the Investor Advisory Group for the Las Bambas project in Peru (2005-2012) and has advised mining companies including Anglo American and Barrick Gold on various aspects of ESG reporting and management. He is the author/editor of eleven books, and of many papers and reports on responsible investment, climate change and related issues. His books include Responsible Investment and Fixed Income Markets (Routledge, 2023), Climate Change and the Governance of Corporations (Routledge, 2021) and Valuing Corporate Responsibility: How Do Investors Really Use Corporate Responsibility Information (Greenleaf, 2011).
