Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Emily has over 13 years’ experience in identifying and managing ESG risks in the mining industry.
Emily is a chartered environmental professional, experienced in environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities. She works in multi-disciplinary teams to review environmental and social aspects of assets across a range of commodities and jurisdictions covering Europe, West Africa, Central Asia, Middle East, North and South America.
Emily identifies and recommends practical solutions for managing key ESG risks and opportunities in the context of permitting and compliance, good international industry practice, and investor requirements, where applicable.
Emily has managed numerous environmental and social impact assessments for large mining developments. These include the planning and delivery of complex work phases such as scoping studies, baseline programmes, stakeholder engagement activities, impact reporting, and environmental and social management planning, often in collaboration with local consultants and specialists. Emily also collaborates with engineering colleagues to provide environmental and social input to engineering studies for mining projects and closure plan development.
