Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Mr. Brouwer is responsible for Teck’s enterprise-wide innovation, transformation, technology and digital systems.
Mr. Brouwer joined Teck in 1998 as Mine Engineer and over the last 25 years has held progressively more senior roles within the organization, including General Manager, Highland Valley Copper; General Manager, Technology and Innovation; and, most recently, Vice President, Transformation.
Mr. Brouwer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining & Mineral Process Engineering from the University of British Columbia, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, Masters of Business Administration from Cornell University and Queen's University, and has completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Mr. Brouwer is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia and is also a former board member of the Thompson Rivers University Foundation Board and the Thompson Nicola United Way.
