Indigenous Women in Mining and Resources Australia (IWIMRA) was founded in 2017 to create a stronger connection amongst First Nations women in Australia’s Minerals and Resource sector. IWIMRA is here to ensure an accessible platform is provided for all women to be heard and reflect a true narrative in our contextual space.

We are driven by one strategic goal - to foster professional development for First Nations women by striving to build productive relationships and make a positive impact.

IWIMRA is focused on raising the profile of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce to meet opportunities with innovation. Canvassing a national network that will support First Nations women who are currently participating and aspiring to lead with clarity and purpose.
