Mark was the MD and CEO of Sirius from its inception until its $1.8 billion takeover by IGO in 2015 and has been the Chairman of S2 since its demerger from Sirius. He is also Chairman of Falcon Metals.
Mark is a PhD qualified geologist with 30 years' experience in exploration and mining. He is a Fellow of AIG and Geological Society of London, and Member of AusIMM and Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He has worked in Australia, Africa, Canada and Europe for WMC and LionOre, in technical, executive and board roles.
Mark is a two times winner of the AMEC "Prospector Award" for discovering the Thunderbox Gold Mine and the Nova nickel mine, and IMARC/Mines and Money 2014 “Legend in Mining”.
Mark is experienced in equity capital markets, and corporate financing, having raised a billion dollars in debt and equity.
