Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Heading up the firm’s Sustainability Research and Stewardship activities under the firm’s revamped Sustainability structure. Sustainability Research comprises thematic research, sector frameworks and sustainability company profiles.
The Thematic Research centres around the firm’s 3 core themes: Climate Change, Planetary Boundaries and Inclusive Capitalism – creating publications that help guide investors into how to invest in these themes and related sub-themes. The flow between thematic research, sector frameworks and sustainability company profiles allow for a top-down meets bottoms-up approach to the different investing styles and frameworks across ESG and Sustainability. The research activities are complemented by the engagement and proxy voting activities of the Stewardship team, who publish Stewardship Insights publications to demystify our approach to Stewardship activities. The team collaborates with the firm’s Sustainability Investment Office on topics like exclusions and participation in industry bodies and the Sustainability Methodologies and Analytics Team on topics like the new regulatory requirements like Sustainable Investment Share. Lastly, the team works closely with Investments, Products and Distribution on Sustainability product development and processes.
