Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
M. Gagnon joined Société du Plan Nord on May 15, 2023 as Director of the Business Development Office. He is in charge of a team primarily dedicated to supporting the development of projects and maximizing economic benefits for Quebec's northern territory. M. Gagnon received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from McGill University.
Over the past 35 years, M. Gagnon has performed numerous mandates in small, medium, and large companies. He has acquired extensive experience in administrative management, operations, business development and financing. He was General Manager of PBI Industries, a young packaging material manufacturer, and Groupe Démex-Centrem, a construction and recycling company. M. Gagnon also acquired excellent knowledge of corporate information systems as a consultant with Accenture and as manager of production management systems with Kraft Foods.
M. Gagnon has also had the opportunity to be involved in investment projects in northern territories, notably in the establishment of a plant producing biofuel made from forest by-products or the implementation of various biomass fed energy producing units.
