Megan joined Central Asia Metals Plc (CAML) in April 2021 as Environmental Specialist and was quickly promoted to Group Environment and Sustainability Manger in December 2021, where she is responsible for developing, implementing and articulating CAML’s sustainability strategy across the Group.
She actively contributes to CAML's commitment to global industry standards for tailings management. Her role involves working with the operations towards conformance with these standards, reflecting her dedication to ensuring environmentally responsible practices in the mining industry.
Megan started her career with Golder as an Environmental Consultant, contributing to projects on mining and contaminated land sites both in the UK and internationally. She has a BSc Hons degree in Geology from the University of Portsmouth and a MSc in Water and Environmental Engineering from Surrey University, and she is a fellow of the Geological Society.
CAML is a base metals producer listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange with copper operations in Kazakhstan and a zinc and lead mine in North Macedonia.
