Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Mr. Barton is a Portfolio Manager at Orion, a mining-focused investment business with approximately US$8.9 billion under management, which provides flexible capital investment solutions to mining companies in the base and precious metals sector. Orion has demonstrated capability in debt, equity, and production-linked investments, such as streams, offtakes and royalties and is recognised as one of the leaders in mining finance. Prior to Orion, Mr. Barton was Chief Executive Officer of Pala Investments, a mining‐focused investment company based in Zug, Switzerland, and prior to that, was Vice President at Hatch Corporate Finance (now HCF International Advisers), a mining and metals‐focused corporate finance boutique. Mr. Barton holds a First-Class Honours degree in Geography from the University of Leicester and is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW).
