Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Mike Neal is a serial entrepreneur who has focused throughout his career on applying mathematical models to important businesses decisions.
Holding 15 patents in related fields, Mike has founded multiple SaaS companies that have delivered highly focused analytics to business users. In 1999 he founded DemandTec (formerly Nasdaq DMAN, then part of IBM, and now part of Acoustic). DemandTec is the largest provider of Consumer Demand Management (CDM) software for retail price and promotion optimization globally. In 2004 he founded SignalDemand, which applies mathematical models to commodity price forecasting in the food industry. SignalDemand was acquired by Pros Holdings in 2012. Mike also serves on several early stage company boards. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA in economics and statistics from the University of Florida.
