Miramar Resources Ltd is an active, WA-focused mineral exploration company exploring for gold, IOCG, Ni-Cu-PGE and REE deposits in the Eastern Goldfields, Murchison and Gascoyne regions of WA.
The Company has multiple large discovery opportunities including:
- Large shallow iron-oxide copper-gold (IOCG) targets at its Whaleshark project located 40kms east of Onslow. The Project has potential for discovery of a large shallow IOCG deposit such as Ernest Henry, Starra, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill, but with the advantage of much shallower cover. The Company recently conducted a diamond drilling program at the project, partially funded by the Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme, which confirmed copper mineralisation. Core assays are pending and further drilling planned.
- Multiple Ni-Cu-PGE targets at its Bangemall projects located in the Gascoyne region (similar to Nova, Nebo-Babel, Savannah). The region has been identified by both the Geological Survey of Western Australia and Geoscience Australia as having high prospectivity for numerous mineral deposit types, including Proterozoic craton margin-related Ni-Cu-PGE mineralisation and REE mineralisation.
- Potential new gold camp at the Gidji JV project located just 15kms north of Kalgoorlie (similar to Paddington or Mt Charlotte). The Marylebone target is the highest priority target as it has the same geology, structural setting and scale as the 4Moz Paddington gold deposit which is also located in the ‘Boorara Shear Zone’ to the north and where Miramar discovered high-grade gold in a quartz vein. The Company has received significant gold results from ‘Marylebone West’ and ‘Highway’ targets – with ‘Highway’ becoming the 3rd new gold discovery at Gidji. At the Marylebone target alone, Miramar has outlined a large shallow gold “Exploration Target” of 1.4 to 3.2Mt @ 1.2 to 1.5g/t Au. This is encouraging as multiple other large aircore gold anomalies have been outlined at Blackfriars, Highway-Piccadilly and Railway targets.
- Potential for lithium-bearing pegmatites at the 100%-owned Randalls Project, located approximately 70km east of Kalgoorlie in the Eastern Goldfields of WA. Given the strong similarities between Randalls
and the Bald Hill area and the lack of previous exploration, there is significant potential for the discovery
of lithium bearing pegmatites within the Company’s tenements.
Miramar has unmatched leverage to discovery with regular newsflow, a tight share register and low EV.
Miramar’s Board has a track record of discovery, development and production within Australia, Africa, and North America, and aims to create shareholder value through discovery of high-quality mineral deposits.
