Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Nigel started his career as a Royal Naval Officer in the Fleet Air Arm where he served an eight-year short career commission.
Upon leaving the Royal Navy, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in the North West of England, where he stayed for a further three years before leaving the profession to work in commerce. He initially joined one of KPMG’s clients, British Aerospace, working in the internal audit department before relocating to London where he worked for six years in management with British Airways. In 2002 he left to become more involved in smaller enterprises and joined CAML in 2007 as Group Financial Controller. Prior to his appointment as CEO in April 2018, he had been the CFO of the Group since he joined the Board in April 2009 and was instrumental in growing the business.
