P2 Gold Inc. is a Vancouver-based precious metals and copper exploration company formed in 2020 by a management team with a proven track record of success in exploring and advancing projects to the mining stage. Most recently, the team advanced the Brucejack Mine in British Columbia from discovery to commercial production in under eight years.
At P2 Gold, the team is advancing its flagship Gabbs gold-copper project in Nevada with a modern exploration approach. The Gabbs Project has an Indicated Mineral Resource of 1.12 million ounces of gold equivalent or 0.65 million ounces of gold and 266.7 million pounds of copper (43.4 million tonnes grading 0.47 g/t gold and 0.28% copper) and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 1.64 million ounces of gold equivalent or 0.88 million ounces of gold and 376.1 million pounds of copper (69.9 million tonnes grading 0.39 g/t gold and 0.24% copper). The mineralization at Gabbs outcrops at surface and has significant expansion potential along strike and at depth. A preliminary economic assessment of the Gabbs Project is targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of this year.
P2 Gold is also advancing its BAM Project in BC’s Golden Triangle, which hosts the Monarch Gold Zone, the newest gold discovery in the Golden Triangle. In 2021, P2 drilled four holes at the never-been-drilled Monarch Gold Zone and all four holes intersected gold mineralization. Hole BAM-003 was the standout hole intersecting 2.63 grams per tonne gold over 45.85 meters, including 7.3 grams per tonne gold over 9.2 meters. Based on soil geochemical sampling, the zone measures approximately 1,000 meters by 1,000 meters and remains open at depth. To follow up on this gold discovery, P2 Gold is planning a deep penetrating geophysics program for late May/early June followed by a minimum 8,000-to-10,000-meter drill program from July through September.
