Pan Global Resources Inc. is a Canada-based junior resource company. The Company is actively engaged in base and precious metal exploration in southern Spain and is pursuing opportunities from exploration through to mine development. Its primary projects are the Escacena Project and the Águilas Project. Escacena comprises a large, contiguous, 5,760-hectare land package controlled 100% by Pan Global in the eastern Iberian Pyrite Belt, a 25-minute drive north of Sevilla.
Pan Global is nearing completion of its 20,000-meter drill program at Escacena, with results being published regularly on the La Romana mineralization extension. Escacena is located near operating mines at Las Cruces and Riotinto and is immediately adjacent to the former Aznalcóllar and Los Frailes mines where Minera Los Frailes/Grupo Mexico is in the final permitting stage with construction anticipated to start in 2024.
The Escacena Project hosts the La Romana copper-tin-silver discovery and Cañada Honda copper-gold discovery as well as at least a dozen other prospective targets that include Bravo, Barbacena, El Pozo, Romana Norte, San Pablo, Zarcita, Hornitos, and La Jarosa.
The prolific Iberian Pyrite Belt has a track record of favourable mining authorization, fully developed infrastructure, generational mining and professional expertise, and support for copper as a Strategic Raw Material by the European Commission. Additional attributes of the Escacena Project beyond the exceptional infrastructure and professional talent nearby, include near-surface copper-tin mineralization, near proximity to operating mines and a copper refinery, mineralization continuity and excellent orientation for open-pit mining, coarse-grained mineralization that would require less processing energy to extract minerals, copper recoveries of 86% and 89% in metallurgical test work, and significant evidence of tin and silver that will provide payable benefits. These attributes collectively define a tier-one jurisdiction and a tier-one project for mining investment.
The Company also controls the Águilas Project 200km northeast of Escacena. Águilas includes approximately nine investigation permits, covering approximately 16,300 hectares in northern Andalucía, Spain. Past drilling has hit zinc, silver, and lead.
The Pan Global team comprises proven talent in exploration, development, and mine operations - all of which are committed to operating safely and with utmost respect for the environment and our partnered communities. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you about Escacena and catalysts on the horizon.
