Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
One of the world’s leading experts in investor-State disputes, Sylvia co-heads the Global International Arbitration Group and Investor-State Disputes Settlement team at Pinsent Masons.
She has nearly 20 years of experience exclusively in investor-State arbitration and has acted personally in more than 20 investor-State arbitrations, including for investors and States, and has won or successfully settled 15 of those arbitrations.
Sylvia acts as both counsel and arbitrator. Her experience spans Europe and the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia in a range of industries, including mining, oil and gas, energy, financial services and telecommunications. She has represented clients under all the major arbitration rules and advises clients on dispute avoidance, sovereign immunity and protecting investments against political risk.
