Andre Booyzen is currently the COO and a Director with Voyager Group. He started his career as a Computer Science graduate and spent many years in the ICT world, in many roles and across many industries. His last role in ICT was as a CIO for an international platinum mining company. He then migrated to head up business improvement as an executive for the same company and won international awards for their successful program.
In 2008 he relocated to Australia and took up a position with Mandalay Resources as General Manager of an Antimony/Gold mine in Victoria, turning this mine around into a world class narrow vein mining operation. After spending 8 years as an executive with Mandalay, he took a short break from the corporate world and subsequently assumed the position of CEO of Rambler Metals, based in Canada. During Covid he relocated back home to Australia and branched off into executive development and youth mentoring. He is still active in this area, volunteering any spare time he has from his Voyager Group duties, to helping youth in need.
