Cam is a senior finance and accounting executive with over 15 years of professional experience primarily in the mining sector and was appointed Senior Vice President, Finance and Information Technology at Pan American Silver Corp. in 2022.
Since joining Pan American Silver in 2014 he has held progressively senior finance and accounting leadership positions involving a wide range of accounting, reporting, compliance, M&A, risk management and financing activities. Prior to joining Pan American Silver Mr. Paterson worked for a junior mining company where he became the vice president of finance and was directly involved in numerous financings. He began his professional career at Deloitte where he left in 2011 as a senior audit manager with a focus in the mining sector. Mr. Paterson is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business.
