Prior to joining Nebari, Steven spent 17 years in the metals and mining industry in project management, operations management and private equity roles.
He started his career in the development of large scale projects in the copper, nickel and aluminum sectors in Latin America, the Middle East and the Canadian Arctic. He later led mining operations of nickel mines in Nunavik and then led a greenfield open-pit gold mining project in Northern Ontario. Following this, he joined the private equity group of Investissement Québec to lead mining investment and financing efforts.
Steven has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from the Richard Ivy School of Business at Western University.
